Purchasing Events
What is a trial event
A trial event allows you to experience
the full capabilities of Rushmore Light by providing you with
a fully functional event. It allows you to select a design and a form,
configure them, send emails, periodically receive event status, etc.
It only limits the number of people whom you can upload to a small number.
When is the new event deducted from my account balance
A new event can be created if you have
your account balance is not empty.
However, the account balance is adjusted only when an event is published.
In other words, you may create several new events, but your account balance
will be decreased only when you start using them.
How do I pay to use Rushmore Register
We accept all credit cards with the exception of American Express.
Your credit card information will transmitted using SSL encryption.
How do I know that my credit card information is secure.
All transactions are processed using SSL encription. Your credit card information will not be stored on our servers and you will need to enter the card information each time you purchase Rushmore Register event packages.
Will I receive a receipt for my purchase.
Yes, all purchases will be acknowledged with an appropriate receipt once the payment has been successfully processed.
Event Set up and Editing
How do I set the capacity for my event
When you click on the NEW EVENT button you will be taken to a page that request basic event information. The last question asks whether you would like to use capacity management � click Yes and complete the capacity number for your event.
Can I change the capacity number once guests have started to register
Yes – simply click on the event set up button and amend the capacity numbers as required.
What happens when this capacity is exceeded
Automatically the registration form is replaced by a message that states that the event is sold out and that registration has therefore been suspended.
How do I create a new event
Having logged in, check the balance of your account. If you have unused events simply click on the button 'CREAT NEW EVENT' and you will then be taken through the process of setting up your new event.
If your need to purchase a single event or multiple event packages � please click on the 'purchase' button. Once your purchase has been completed you will be asked whether you would like to set up a new event � click YES and you will be taken through the process.
When does my event site become 'inactive'.
Registration for your event will automatically become inactive on the day following the date of your event. The registration form will not accept any new registrations once an event has become 'inactive'.
You can also set the date at which new registrations will no longer be accepted. In addition, new registrations will not be accepted when the capacity for the event has been exceeded.
Design and Event Information
Can I have my own designs
Yes, if you have a specific design � email it to us at design@rushmore-register.com and we will add it to your personal portfolio of designs for you to use. There is a small additional charge for this service and the turnaround is 24 hours.
Can I edit the content of my event pages once an event is 'active'
Yes, all elements of your event can be changed with the exception of the date of the event.
Registration Forms and Guest Registrations
Can I add/remove questions to the pre-prepared registration forms
Yes, the registration forms are designed as a place to start. Just find the registration form that closest matches your requirment and then click on the add and remove buttons to amend the questions to your exact requirement. To assist further there is an extensive range of predefined questions that you can select and insert as required.
Can I edit the text of the questions on the registration forms
Yes, the exact phrasing of any registration questions can be amended to reflect your preferred choice of phrasing.
How do I know when my guests register
You have two choices. Firstly you can receive a copy of the registration confirmation email sent to your guests when they register. Secondly, you can opt to receive 'service emails' on a daily basis. Service emails are a summary of the event status and include the numbers invited, accepted, declined and yet to respond.
You can of course receive both!
Is there a limit on the number of registrations for each of my events
No. There is no limit to the number of registrations you can accept.
There is a limit of 2,000 guests that can be invited to your event. If you require additional guest numbers there is a small charge � please email your requirement to sales@rushmore-digital.com. Additional guests can be purchased for $10 per �000 additional guests.
Can I edit/change the registration form once the event is 'active'
Yes. To add additional questions please follow the standard process. If you wish to remove a question � please follow the instructions to make the question(s) invisble.
Reports/Guest Information
How do I access the guest registration information
Once logged in simply access the report button/icon. All standard reports will be presented. You will have the option of adding new custom reports if you require.
What happens to my guest list after my event has finished
All information regarding your guests will be stored for 4 weeks from the date of the event. You will then be emailed a spread sheet with the guest and registration information for your event. The database for this event will then be empty.
Emails/communications
Is there a limit to the number of invitations I can send using Rushmore Register
Yes. The standard limit is 2,000 email invitations. If you require additional capacity � please email your requirement to sales@rushmore-digital.com. The cost is $10 per additional �000 invitations.
Can I change the text of all emails
Yes, Click on the Email icon in the set up wizard and you will betaken through the email set process which allows you to edit and amend all email texts.
How do I know that my email will not be considered as Junk mail
The emails are automatically verified by our Junk mail system before they are sent. If there is a problem, the emails will not be sent and you will be notified. Junk mail is also against our usage agreement, and 'spammers' will be penalized immediately. You can therefore be reasonably certain that your emails will not be considered 'Junk'.
Will my guests receive an automatic confirmation email once they have registered
Yes. When you create an event, you can determine the text of the email the guests will receive depending on whether they have accepted your invitation or not. You can also specify any additional people those emails should go to.
When I upload a new guest list and send them an invitation will previous guests also receive another invitation email
No. A guest will receive only one invitation. You may add some guests, invite them, then add more guests and invite the guests again � only the new ones will receive invitations.
What happens if my guests do not wish to receive further emails from me regarding this event
The emails include a link that allows the guests to 'unsubscribe' from your list. They will no longer receive emails from Rushmore Light.
Can I send/resend email reminders to guests who have yet to respond
Yes. You can remind guests multiple times to respond and you can schedule when a reminder will happen.
Can I send/resend email reminders to guests who have accepted my invitation
Yes. You can remind the guests of the date and place of your event and schedule the reminders for a particular date and time.
Can I change the text of all/any emails once an event has become active and people have started to register.
Yes. You have complete flexibility to change any email text at any time.
Can I include pictures in my emails
The logo that you uploaded as the account image will be displayed in all email communications.
What happens if a guest cannot receive HTML emails
In the event that any of your guest cannot receive HTML emails a plain text version will be delivered. This will not include images and design features but the content will be exactly the same.
Can I send out hard copy invitations and ask guests to register online
Yes. There is no requirement to sent out any invitations by email. Please take care to ensure that URL/address of your event is correctly printed on your hardcopy invitation.
Event Site Information
How do I know what the url/web address is for the event that I have created
When you create the event you will asked to name your event � you will also receive a confirmation email once the site has been activated to confirm the exact URL of your event.
Can I use any brower to edit and view the event pages.
Yes. Your guests can use any browser to view the event pages. The administration area of Light has been optimised to work effectively with all the leading browsers.
How do I archive/unarchive an event
Simply click the archive button and the event that you are working on will be stored in an archive.
Guest Payments
Can I receive payment from my guests using Rushmore Register
You can collect credit card information from your guests which you can manually process.
We do not currently offer online payment processing in Rushmore Light.

Guest Lists and Management
How do I upload a guest or guest list into Rushmore Register
Please select the Guest list icon from the set up wizard. You will have to two options. Firstly to add guests individually or as a group.
To add an individual guest simply complete the empty fields with the information and press Add. Your new guest will be added to the guest list. You can then add another.
Groups of guests can be added using an Excel Spreadsheet or CSV file. The columns on the spreadsheet need to match the names of the fields that you want the information inserted into. To assist you with this we have included a template for you to download. Simply copy and paste the information you have onto the spreadsheet and save it. Returning to Rushmore Light click the button browse. Locate the saved guest list and click on it. The name of the file will appear in the upload window. Press Upload.
The information you are uploading and the columns into which it is going to be inserted will be previewed. If happy click confirm and upload will be completed. It usually takes about 10-15 seconds to complete.
You can then view your guest list and if desired send them an invitation.
How do I remove guests from my guest list
Go to the Reports section. Select a report where the guest of guests you wish to remove can be found � probably 'All Guests'. Check the box next to the guest name and click DELETE.
Do I have to upload all my guests details at the same time or can I add to the guest list as often as I like.
You can add and remove guests from the list at any time you like by going to the guests page. You are only limited in the total number of guests added. It does not matter when the guests will be added.

Security
How do I know that my account and guest information is secure
To protect your personal information, Rushmore requires that you log in to access certain services or account information, or after thirty minutes of inactivity.
When you log in, Rushmore uses industry-standard SSL encryption to protect the confidentiality of your member name and password.
